4 Ways to Print:
The double sided versions of these cards include the same math problem on both the front and back with the answer included on the back side in a light gray color; the lighter color answer prevents children from seeing the answer through the card.
This educational aid helps students build addition skills. Equations are presented 2 ways (i.e. 1x2 and also 2x1) to reinforce skills. Complete tables for all numbers 0-12. Self-checking, answers on back of double sided cards. 169 cards, 2" x 3.5". Standard business card size. Small and easy to fit inside a zip lock bag and slip into purse or pocket and take with you and practice anywhere. |
Having only one problem on each individual card allows you to easily put cards aside that your child needs to works on. You can easily combine them into number groups in the same manner that your child is learning them at school.
Included bonus Addition Fact Sheet contains all the same facts that are on the cards for easy reference. This is a great sheet to laminate for your child to use as they learn their facts!

Common Questions:
There are four versions available - which should I use?
Personally, I like the double sided vertical cards but I recommend, at least to start, using the version that is most similar to what your child is already familiar with.
If you have a printer that can print on both sides of a page that is ideal but if not then sometimes it can be a bit confusing figuring out how to place the paper to get the other side to print properly. If you find it frustrating to figure out which way the paper goes in the printer then I would say just print a single sided version and then you can make filling in the backsides a great math exercise for your child.
If you go with the single sided version. I would recommend using a pencil to write the answer on the backside of each flash card. Pencils tend to write a little lighter than pens or markers and will make it less likely that the answer will show through the other side.
What should I print it on?
I prefer printing them on standard 8.5x11 colored card stock. I think the colors make them more cheerful and fun to use. For best results select a lighter colored card stock. I purchased my colored card stock from Amazon, it came with 5 different colors. You could use one color for the addition, another for subtraction, another for multiplication, and another one for the division flash cards. Or you could mix it up and use multiple colors for a single set. Then or course you could also use White Card Stock
They also print great on Avery Business Cards (2" x 3.5"). This size is perfect to print 10 cards per sheet. Why I love this option: because they are the perfect size and easy to separate on the perforations. Avery Cards for Inkjet. Avery for Laser Printer.
You can print these on regular paper but then it will be easier for the answers to show through if you are printing double sided.
How do I print double sided?
I can NOT offer printing or printer support as all printers are different and I am not skilled in the technology of them but I can tell you how I print with my printer and maybe yours will be similar. I have an HP Envy 4512 which works very well for my needs and it has the capability to print double sided. If you will be printing a double sided version be sure to select "flip on short edge" in your printers print settings.

If these pointers don't work for you then I am left with the only other option of referring you to your printers manual or printer support service team. Or suggesting that you go the easy route of printing a single sided version and writing the answer on the back side of the flash cards.
